Alcatel-Lucent 1665 Data Multiplexer Extend
The Alcatel-Lucent 1665 Data Multiplexer Extend is designed to bring high-capacity TDM, Ethernet, and SAN services to the metro access network edge. This compact platform offers the flexibility to combine optical, SONET layer transmission interfaces with cost-effective Ethernet and SAN (FICON/ESCON/FC) interfaces. It can enable deployment of SONET and facility protected high-speed OC-48, OC-12 or OC-3 networks in remote areas of the local-loop where space is limited and multiple interfaces must be supported.
The Alcatel-Lucent 1665 Data Multiplexer Extend is part of the comprehensive Lucent Technologies optical portfolio, providing end-to-end optical solutions for today's metro and long-haul networks.
